That my friends, is the fear of today, Friday the 13th.
But please tell me you guys do not believe in this mumbo jumbo nonsense.. I’m sure all the faithful souls out there are avoiding as many black cats and latter’s that they see, or even some may have a fear of that guy in the hockey mask.. But in reality, none of these things have to do with today’s date.
There are many theories from the 19th Century that support the combination of thirteen being an unlucky number and Friday apparently being an unlucky day. Due to conflicting arguments, it has also been said that the rate of accidents just happen to be higher when they fall on today’s date. In my opinion, it is what it is. I’m the type of person to go with the flow so if something does happen to occur today, so be it. In fact, I found five dollars on the ground this morning so I enjoy the luckiness of this unlucky day.
