Halloween has certainly transformed into quite the holiday amongst teens when it comes to dressing up and having the perfect outfit. No matter what character is being portrayed, there is a ‘sexy ______’ anything now a days. You could be a sexy coffee table and receive your desired attention, depending on how you work it. Personally, I’m more conservative and actually enjoy the candy aspect of Halloween (still a youngin..) so going out on a night in Upstate NY with twenty degree weather, I’m pretty sure a sexy garbage bag isn’t going to keep me warm. Now I’m not trying to bash the costume aspect of this wonderful night/weekend, but there are plenty of awesome contest winning worthy outfits that are capable of being put together.

Those are just some suggestions steering away from the original ‘scary’ Halloween costumes but are still definitely intriguing and can be taken very far with some creative thoughts. On another note.. How old is too old to be celebrating traditional Halloween activities? Carving pumpkins, decorating your surroundings, scaring your friends and family, and possibly adventuring out for some sweets. Or in some cases, stealing a younger siblings candy. But what ever happened to having your parents check your candy before you ate it? Hardly occurs anymore, I find kids that have demolished half of their bag before they even finished their desired amount of houses. Is it dangerous that the candy is no longer checked or what?
