Almost every day I newly establish an idea relevant to various themes. Interpretation: I’m a label-er, constantly opinionated, and a simple observer. I mean, aren’t we all? Anything to avoid the obvious. Pretending is more like it. Days were easier as a toddler. You and your friends could be fire fighters one day, saving silly kittens from high limbs of a park tree. The next day you’re a nurse tending to a very ill teddy bear with the rarest disease everywhere. All of that is fine and dandy, the pretending, because you have nothing to worry about. Eat, sleep, and play. Not many adults have that option any longer, depending on how mature the ‘some adults’ are… A decade or two fly by and that daily routine has grown as fast as your height. You can’t pretend anymore, you can’t switch your occupation day-to-day, you can’t just eat, sleep, and play. Bills don’t pay themselves, and with needs comes wants. Even though we grow and get older, there are people that still believe they have the permission to pretend, and make their whole life a lie. Well it’s a lie to everyone else for that matter, and just normal for the faker. They pretend everything is alright because no one has the courage to slap them in the face with reality.{FYI some people live in this world called reality, and others vacation their life away in some other utopia that truly only exists about 10% of the time.} I’m just really dumbfounded about the sunshine that is seen by invisible people.. because that’s easily how I see it. Facts are facts for a reason.
For all the dream world livers out there, per say, rub your eyes a little and see through the fairy dust because not all lemons make lemonade. The people surrounding you simply don’t know how to deal with your artificial ways and would like you to change.
Change.
There’s that word again.
The one everybody attempts to duck and cover from. It won’t soar right over your head, it will situate itself right above like a cloud and wait for movement from below and finally strike. Well, thats okay, because more than a handful of people should experience change. Some more than others avoid it, label it something different or not at all. With time brings change, and with change brings new opportunities, places, ideas, people, relationships, experiences and memories. So why wouldn’t you take change up on its offer? Well, thats where those pretenders come in, their world doesn’t accept change.{Haha, change, like the movement, not the coin.} Its like some movie created bubble world where when something foreign exerts an entrance, it immediately flings off because it’s not allowed.
Get out of that bubble. Because change is a comin, and it won’t drift away like some leaf down a river. Be the big boulder that brings it to a halt and grabs onto it. Sit with it and take sometime to enjoy it’s presence. But if you don’t like it, rain will be sure to snatch it back up, and drag that leaf away again. Its okay, not everything will suffice your needs, but brownie points are counted for participation. That’s what Phys-Ed was about right? I couldn’t tell you..
The Pretenders don’t handle reality well, nor change for that matter. So all you reality operators, I am proud of you all, because you have courage to take on the world and all the change that comes along with it, and that’s a lot. Those are the kind of people that others can look up to, a hero of some sort. I mean, everyone has some sort of a hero. Who’s yours?
