Illuminating the globe, but not all at once,
Your sparkles shimmer down without notice.
All through the night your light shines and screams as if it’s a crime.
Peeking through the trees, you blanket many rooftops.
Your silhouette is sighted occasionally throughout the days, and teases the sky for its later showing.
Blue, yellow, or white and so bright, my admiration continues on each and every night.
It’s time to say goodnight though, because your trace will be alive even when the sun arrives.
