I just wanted to wish everyone a happy, safe, lovely, wonderful, fun-filled, Memorial Day weekend. Our town goes ‘big’ on this holiday so it’ll be another morning of marching with the band then bbq’s and friends. I hope everyone remembers who fought for our country and who still does. We are all so blessed to have the safety that we do in this country.
Tomorrow I will have my father on deck all day as it will be seven long years with out him as my shadow. I know he’s having his share of festivities as well..
I’d also like to make a point about my writing lately. When I first started this blog, I had no idea what to do with it. Now that I am starting to take writing more seriously, especially for college, I have developed a ‘different’ style if you will. Usually I just put thoughts to paper and later review them to see if they qualify to be viewed on here. Just making sure that it is known that I don’t plan to sit down and make up the elaborations expressed, most of them are due to recent experiences or some sort of inspiration.
