Up here in the north east, Ms. Mother Nature is playing tricks on us. Should I keep my gloves with me at all times or put away the pea coat and make use of the fall fleece. Some are torn between giving up all hope on the snow and are fast forwarding to the annual, worst weather months New York sees; March through May. Which I find completely unacceptable, by the way, because we do encounter some flurries here and there. When corresponding your outfit everyday to accommodate the sketchy weather, or in my case, ice cold classrooms.. ponder on how there may still be a chance to get out and enjoy the free time left over in your muffled, daily schedule.

Runners stay true to their path(s). Saturday mornings belong to the habitual, faithful, early birds and their health. I always see them layered all the way up to their pink cheeks, oh so determined to extend the miles. Then, for the slow risers, it could be zumba at 11:30, that has a ticket with their name on it. Other weekend celebrators attack errands and any sporting event that pertains to their liking.

I know where you think this rant is going, silly suggestions on what to do this weekend. But no, you are wrong. I’d be foolish to express my opinions

this late in the day while the night creeps closer to a check off of Friday evening. Regardless of what is happening down in fun town, I will gladly start my weekend playlist with a Sex and the City marathon and some close friends name Ben and Jerry. I mean, obviously I have to attend to all of the social, online games that run my life… (Words With Friends, Hanging With Friends, etc.) but it is not always the worst to break out the stress-free coupon every once and a while.

Just, like my last weekend post from months ago, I strongly advice to simply take it easy. No need to stress the weekend. Keep calm and read some blogs. Drink a lot of water. Give yourself a manicure. Bake Oreo stuffed chocolate chip cookies. Get chocolate wasted.. Play with your pet. Write a poem. Go to a museum. Be a Giants fan…but just this once. Oh, and please be a doll and listen to Eliza Rose Vera to wind the weekend down.
